This bowl-motif ring takes as its inspiration the shape of the rice bowl, which traditionally connotes “rising” and symbolises happiness and prosperity.
The totalling over 8-carat pear-shaped diamonds recreate the delicate, three-dimensional base. Diamonds handpicked for colour, shape, and size are arranged to lend a perfectly circular depth illusion to the vessel. Centring a 5.28-carat oval Paraiba tourmaline of very intense greenish blue colour and great brilliancy, floats atop the small bowl, catching light.
Streams of light flow through the slits between the diamonds to illuminate the Paraiba tourmaline from all angles, bringing to life the entirety of the bowl between the fingers.
